Between the kiddos and my never ending health problems, I couldn’t to make it to BlogHer this year. I wish I could have been there – it was in my own back yard again. This year I was invited to tons of fun parties, and I almost didn’t go to any of them.
Instead I went back to school. With Lands’ End. Sunday night, I made the trip to New York to attend a fun back-to-school themed party complete with advice on hair and makeup, food, fall fashion and more.
I learned all about backpack safety and I was impressed by the Lands’ End backpacks and lunch boxes. So much so that I returned the other ones that I bought for Emma after seeing them.
Lands’ End has really stepped to the plate. They have iron-knee pants that will hold up to what kids can dish out, and adorable clothes and accessories for their first day of school. I’m in love with their fall fashions for mama, too.
Bloggers took courses in hair, makeup, and we took class photos. Celebrity Chef Sam Talbot was there, cooking up lunch and doling out advice. I aced all of my courses, passed with flying colors. The event was very well thought out. Seamless, fun, a good time for all.
Best of all, I got to meet up with friends that were in town for the conference.
