Your child starts to unwrap a toy that she’s been begging for, eagerly tearing through the wrapping paper with all her might, only to find that it’s sealed in hard plastic. It’s the one drag about birthdays and Christmas, what every parent dreads. You have to try and open the impossible-to-open package as quickly-as-possible to avert tears on what is supposed to be a joyful day. My normal method is to stab the packaging with the scissors and cut as much as I can, and then try to pull it apart with my bare hands. It’s neither easy nor safe. I’m lucky if I don’t injure myself in the process.
When I was told that the Zip-it Opener cuts through the hard plastic without leaving sharp edges, I was a little skeptical. I’ve used other openers that claim to be safe and easy to use and the end result was disappointing. It was no safer than using a razor blade. But the Zip-it did exactly what it said it would do. Powered by two AA batteries and equipped with rollers, it opened my package in record time. This would have been a life-saver a few months ago!
The Zip-it Opener was designed by Steve Fisher, who made this product to make life a little easier for his mom. It’s such a user friendly and safe device designed to quickly open the pesky hard plastic that so many products are now packaged in. Your fingers can never come in contact with the blades because of the plastic safety cover, so it is truly safe to use.
BUY IT! The Zip-it Opener is only $19.99 – a very small price to pay for a stress-free opening experience.
