Your neighborhood custom play mats by Needed Wanted {Review}

By Heather

Toy stores sell tons of generic “road map” carpeting and boards that children can use to enhance the fun of playing with their matchbox cars.  My daughter is just getting into that ‘pretend play’ stage and she gets a real kick out of controlling the cars on the ‘road’.

And now she’s learning about her neighborhood at the same time with her own Needed Wanted custom play mat.  You can order one based on any location you want, but normally folks base their maps off of where they live.  That’s what we chose to do.  Not only does this make playing with vehicles more interesting, but it can also teach kids about the neighborhood in which they live.

The other reason that these play mats are so great?  They save my hardwood floor from being scratched up by those metal cars.  When you’re done playing, they roll right up for easy storage.

The custom play mats are available in small (3’ x 1.5’), medium (4’ x 2.5’) and large (6’ x 2.5’).  We received the smallest size which sells for $28.00.   I like that it can also double as a protective mat for coloring.

No compensation was received for this post.  I received the products mentioned above in order to facilitate my candid review.  All opinions are my own.
