Xfinity Makes Being Home for the Holidays a Great Place to Be

By Heather 18 Comments

This post is sponsored by Comcast Xfinity

We’ve been Xfinity customers for over 15 years. Our household uses their services for television, internet, phone and now mobile service. The company has always provided reliable service, but they really have upped the game over these past several years.

For one, they’ve introduced us to Xfinity X1, which makes easy work of finding what you want to watch. Just speak into your remote – it’s that easy! The company offers a fast connection to streaming services like Netflix – and recently they added Hulu and Peacock to the lineup too!

This is a challenging year for all of us, and that’s putting it mildly. We’re all “stuck” at home but thanks to some new Xfinity services they’ve made it a fun place to be. Just say “holiday” into your Xfinity voice remote and you’ll see tons of holiday programing options including music, animated videos, interactive games and more. You can even follow old Saint Nick when you speak “Track Santa” into the voice remote.

For those of us teaching our kids from home, you can find educational programing by speaking “Education” into your Xfinity Voice Remote. You’ll find educational materials organized by subject. It’s easy, and it’s all right at your fingertips!

If everyone is attending school and work all day in the same house, you might experience some lag. Or you might want to work from the back yard on a nice day. The new xFi pods will strengthen connections and give you a broader range from which to work.  Read these tips on improving network performance.

We recently switched our cellular service to Xfinity Mobile. I’m happy to report that this has cut our bill in half. I have to admit that I was skeptical at first. I thought, “Who is going to provide the same service for half the cost?!” Xfinity Mobile has done it, and I’m happy to be saving money every month. Plus, Xfinity Mobile offers 5g at no extra cost to customers.

Speaking of mobile, the Xfinity xFi app has a lot of useful features for customers. From there you can easily request service, perform a remote speed test, pause connectivity, change your Wifi name and password and so much more. Get all the help you need without having to wait on hold.

These are just some of the exciting things happening with Comcast Xfinity. We are thankful they’re here to make this holiday season the best it can be!

We don’t have that company here, but we have Spectrum and they really need some competition!

I hope Xfinity is available in my area. This is really a great service. I’d love to have Xfinity to take over. I’m glad they have a mobile service too.

I just compared Xfinity to my current service. I think Xfinity might be better and cheaper. I need to figure out if it makes sense long term to switch.
