Wrapped toilet paper and other guest essentials for the holidays

DIY Wrapped toilet paper / tampon holder

Can you believe Thanksgiving is only a week away? With the holiday season just around the corner, you’re probably thinking about getting the house together and making it pretty. In addition to the holidays we also have a few birthdays mixed in, which means plenty of guests coming and going. I had to stock up on the essentials this week to get ready for my house guests, so I headed over to Costco.

Where else can I find everything I need at amazing prices? I was able to pick up Charmin toilet paper, Tampax tampons and Febreze Air Effects among many other things for a fraction of what I’d pay at the local grocery store.

I don’t think I’m going to run short on supplies over the next 2 months with this Costco Haul. Got everything I need and plus much more, don’t you think?

When I’m a guest in someone’s home and I have a feminine emergency, I don’t like to go digging through someone’s cabinets. This was the inspiration behind my idea. I wanted to put out spare toilet paper for my guests among other supplies so that everything is ready available for the convenience of my friends and family.

I also wanted our bathroom to look put together and pretty for the holidays. With two sheets of red tissue paper, I wrapped a single toilet paper roll. Just set the roll right in the center of the flat tissue, pull it up and tuck into the center.

Tuck a few tampons into the center of the roll. Perfect area to store tampons while also securing the tissue paper. Finish by adding a pretty bow to the wrapped toiled paper roll.

What guest essentials will you pick up this season at Costco?

Charmin has always been my go to brand, and I always buy in bulk when the prices are right for my pocket book.
