I’m having all sorts of feelings about my youngest turning two. Even had a dream on his birthday eve that I was pregnant again (it’s not happening). We spent his birthday, last Saturday, in Ocean City enjoying the beautiful weather on the boardwalk.
The kids had an awesome day with their cousins, spent mostly spinning in circles on the rides.
After we were done playing, we had an early dinner at a restaurant in Somers Point. We were going to request dessert with a candle, but the waitress mentioned that they had cakes so we decided to order the cake and have a “real” birthday celebration.
The cake was yummy…and PINK. I didn’t think that was a big deal. In fact, I didn’t even notice until my husband mentioned it because it was bugging him. LOL.
What do you think…is that a big deal?
Of course it wasn’t a big deal. It’s different this day in age, you know?
That’s what I thought! Who cares, as long as it tastes good.
happy birthday, Ryan! And nope…no big deal at all! men! lol
Nothing wrong with a pink cake! I think with kids as long as it looks good and it’s sweet they are for it! Looks like it was a great day! P.S. i have yet to visit Ocean City. I must this summer!
I’m with you Ruby. You are going to love Ocean City!
