Yesterday was the final day to see the tree lit at Rockefeller center. I’m glad we went in to see it last weekend. Even though the weather was frigid. It’s always less crowded in the city after New Years Day. But this is New York City and it’s always pretty crowded. :)
This iPhone photo is a little blurry but as you can see there are no skaters on the ice because the zamboni was out there working its magic.
I love that the traditions remain at Rockefeller Center. Even though we see the same angels ever year, they are still gorgeous, as is the tree lit up at nighttime.
This was Ryan’s first time, and Emma’s second. If you missed the other photos from our trip, see my weekend recap.
Have you ever visited Rockefeller Center at Christmastime? What are you yearly traditions?
Robin (Masshole Mommy) says
I haven’t seen the tree in years. I usually don’t go down at Christmas time because it’s so crowded.

It’s definitely a bit of a hike for you too!
