Of all the seasons we can visit the farm, my favorite is autumn. It’s been unseasonably warm this year, however last Sunday it was in the 50s. Brrr…
We got in some cousin time too. The kids loved playing on the playground equipment, feeding the animals and taking the hayride out to the crops.
Other than the gorgeous leaves and the smell of apple cider donuts, I love picking veggies more than fruit. It’s not yet brussel sprout picking time (my favorite), but instead we picked sweet potatoes, popping corn and for the first time, broccoli.

Looks like a great time. Nothing better then fresh veggies and fruits from the farm. And yum!, applecider doughnuts!

Hmmmm, I don;t think we can pick veggies at any of our local farms. They usually just open up for apples, berries, peaches, etc.
