Emma and Ryan not only attended their very first wedding last Friday, they were also in it. It was an exciting time for Emma who went back and forth at being confused about exactly what was going to happen. Was she getting married, were they all getting married? It was all very confusing up until the big day. :)
It was a beautiful day for the bride and groom and Mr. Ryan helped with the ring bearing, and Emma and her beautiful cousins and pals all decorated the aisle with faux flower petals.
Ryan got a little nervous when he saw the crowd in the chapel, but he made it down nicely, albeit at a very slow pace. So handsome!
The flower girls all went down the aisle beside one another which was really cute. We didn’t plan it that way, but all’s well that ends well.
The wedding took place in the historic and picturesque Allaire State Park. The chapel was so charming and the newlyweds got to ring the church bell after the ceremony.
The bride’s friend brought along a horse and carriage for the bride, groom, and anyone else who wanted to take a ride. I think that was the most fun and unique part about the big day. The bride even saddled up and rode the horse after taking pictures.
It was a beautiful day and I’m so glad the kids were a part of it.
