Win Fast with the NJ Lottery

By Heather

You must be 18 or older to buy a lottery ticket. The New Jersey Lottery reminds players, it’s only a game…remember to play responsibly. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call 1800-GAMBLER®.

njlotteryWhat would you do with a little unexpected bonus cash? I can think of plenty of things ranging from practical ideas like college savings to frivolous ones like a spontaneous vacation in the Caribbean. We work hard for our money and we track our income and spending religiously, so it would be nice to have a little fun do-whatever-you-want cash to spend and enjoy.

My husband always comes home with scratch off tickets. Since we met I have found myself buying them more and more. The idea of winning a lotto prize is exciting so I will occasionally pick up one or two during a grocery shopping trip. Normally we have to wait until we get home and find a coin to scratch and reveal what’s beneath the surface and find out if we’ve won, but on a recent trip to Shoprite, we discovered the newly launched New Jersey Lottery Fast Play games.

These new lotto games are easy to play and win. The new quick play styles are printed right from the lottery terminal in any brick and mortar stores that sell New Jersey Lottery tickets. We like that there is no waiting required or numbers to pick with with traditional lottery games, and no need to scratch to see if you’re a winner. These are basically scratch-off tickets without the scratch-off component.

There are multiple themes and price points on the new Fast Play tickets, with costs ranging from $1 – $10 per ticket. The $10 games were not yet available when we played; those will be coming soon. We did however purchase one of each of the available Fast Play tickets to experience the new games for ourselves.

Fast Cash is only $1 but you could win up to $500. The odds are 1 in 4 to win.

Red Hot Numbers is also $1 and you might win up to $1,000. The odds of winning is 1 in 3.9.

Slots of Fun is $2 with a grand prize up to $5,000 with odds of winning at 1 in 3.8.

Bling Bling Bucks will cost you $5 and you can win up to $25,000. The odds of winning are 1 in 3.2.

Unfortunately, we were not winners this time around, but we will be playing again soon and crossing our fingers for a winning ticket next time. With these odds, we have to try again!

Fast Play games will be refreshed and changed every few months, so we will be on the lookout for a new favorite game to play. They feature increased odds of winning and are quick and easy.

To purchase a Fast Play ticket at your New Jersey Lottery retailer, just ask for Fast Play, name your game, and then collect prizes quickly. For more information visit New Jersey Lottery.

We don’t gamble too often, but these seem like fun ways to take a chance at winning. I would do the same as you and pick up one or two here and there but not all the time!

I have to admit I play the lottery on and off – normally when there is a big prize haha!

I’ve never played. A few years back I won every contest I ever entered and everyone said to play the lottery I wish I did!

I have always dreamed of winning, but Anne Marie is right. It is far-fetched. It’s better to play the games where it’s easier to win.

Who would not want to win the lottery? I sometimes dream of hitting the jackpot, however, I know that is far-fetched. I would rather participate in lotto games where you can win some cash quickly.

I wondered what the lottery tickets were going around social media. I could sure use a lottery win about now (couldn’t we all?). :)
