Vital IDs for Child Safety (Review + Giveaway)

A great find for our upcoming trip is the Vital ID bracelet from Belly Charms.  If you’ve ever lost sight of your child in the middle of a store or a park – even for just a minute – you know that horrible gut-wrenching feeling.  I myself immediately think the worst possible outcome.  The scenes flash through my mind as panic-mode sets in.  I don’t want to imagine that happening in Disney World.  God forbid.

But just in case that does happen, I can help to reunite us much more easily.  The Vital ID bracelets are velcro bands that contain your child’s information.  Include your family name, telephone numbers, medical information and more.  The information is accessed by opening the bracelet.  The info tab is visible and easily slides out of a pocket inside.  Priceless, and yet only $11.99.

The bracelets are available in a number of colors and patterns.  Emma wears a lot of pink so we went with the bright hot pink shade.  To her, it’s a fashion accessory.  To us, it’s peace of mind.
