I remember drinking a slew of unhealthy soft drinks during the summers of my childhood. Sugary punch, soda, things I would never even consider feeding my children. I do allow them natural fruit juice and the occasional treats, but mostly the kids drink either water or milk.
I’ve personally known the healthy benefits of coconut water ever since I started researching ways to ease my gastritis, or irritated stomach. It has been a great healer for me, and I like the taste too. Coconut water also helps to hydrate the body more quickly than water, which is why it’s the perfect summer drink for kids.
My kids couldn’t appreciate the taste of coconut water until recently, when they discovered which was created for kids ages 2-8. It’s a new line of naturally flavored fruity coconut waters that is packed with nutrients, electrolytes, potassium and vitamin C. The new flavors include: Apple Island, Paradise Punch and Very Cherry Beach.
Emma loved all three flavors! Ryan was enjoying them too.
The packaging really stood out to me. Triangular in shape, they’re sturdy so they’ll even stand up in the sand without tipping over. They’re packaged in Tetra Pak, an eco- and socially-responsible form of packaging based on the use of wood fiber, a sustainable source.
