Last month when we were attending Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, I hurt my foot and ankle badly. It got to the point where I had to stop walking around the park with my family and let them go on without me. That was the last thing that I wanted to do in the happiest place on earth, but I had no choice.
After some research I think I was suffering from plantar fasciitis. It did get better after I started wearing my sneakers again. I guess you could say that I learned my lesson the hard way. No more flip flops when I know I’m going to be doing a lot of walking. Unfortunately, sneakers are uncomfortable in another way. I can’t stand feeling my feet sweat on a hot day.
Vionic contacted me to see if I was interested in trying their flip flops. So I hopped on over to their website and I liked what I saw. Vionic flip flops hug the arch of the foot for full support like you get with a sneaker, but in a nice cool flippie. With Vionic’s podiatrist-designed, supportive Orthaheel Technology, the gravitational forces that cause the arch of the feet to collapse can be reversed, raising them back into their neutral position helping to re-align the entire leg and preventing plantar fasciitis, so wearers can move to move dynamically in complete comfort as intended.
These are the only sandals recommended by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and they’re cute too. There are several styles available in the Tide flip flops; I chose the Tide Rhinestones. They are a wider sandal than I’m used to, but they are extremely comfortable. I’ll be wearing these all summer long. These sandals are not cheap at $75 but worth every penny if they continue to prevent foot pain.
Those look like my style! I wear flip flops all year long. Love the accents on these flip flops!
I like that these hug the arch of your foot. Normal flip flops seem to destroy your arch and posture.
Those are so nice. They look real comfy.
I love my Vionics sneakers! Those flip flops are adorable, too, and I’m sure they’re so comfortable.
Oh these look nice! I haven’t heard of them before but they look super comfy!
I need these. I have plantar fasciitis and I love to wear flip flops. I will definitely be checking these out!
I need some new flip flops! I like these, very stylish and fun!
I love the look of these sleek flip flops and that they seem really supportive. I’m going to mention them to my SIL too. She has a horrible time wearing sandals for any period of time due to plantar fasciitis too!
These flip flops look so comfy and cute! I live in flip flops during the summer so if they will keep my feet from hurting, I’m all in!
Those are super cute. They look so comfy!
