All opinions stated are my own.
I’m not a daily makeup wearer. The two days I always leave the house to drop Ryan at preschool are my usual gym days, so I don’t wear makeup for that. But if I have a doctor’s appointment or lunch with a friend, usually I will do a quick 5-minute makeup routine.
That said, I don’t like anything too heavy on my face. Normally, I use a light foundation and then I focus on my eyes with shadow, liner and mascara. For the lips, I like a tinted gloss. My favorite look is one that is polished, but in a natural way.
Just recently I was presented with an opportunity to try out the new Victoria Jackson® cosmetics. I remember the Victoria Jackson infomercials from the 90’s which my mom first bought the cosmetics from. I was just starting to experiment with makeup and the time and I had fun playing with her products when she wasn’t looking.
I’ll start with the Foundation Duo. This particular one comes in a mirrored compact with two shades and a sponge for the perfect blend. I felt that this product looked too cakey on me. It’s thicker and more heavy than the type of foundation I’m used to wearing.
The Perfect Everyday Blush in garden is of nice quality and it blended beautifully. In ‘Garden’, it is the perfect shade for that flushed cheek look.
To finish the look, I used my usual shadow and liquid eyeliner and then the Victoria Jackson Lush Mascara. This was my favorite of the makeup products. The mascara gave me nicely separated lashes with zero clumping. This one’s a winner.
At the end of the day, I used the makeup remover. I learned quickly that a little goes a long way. Just dap some onto a cotton swab and swipe the makeup right off. When I first tried it I poured too much onto the cotton and it stung my eyes, so just use sparingly and gently to avoid that. It worked like a charm; my makeup came off much easier than the removing cloths I usually use.

I’ve read about Victoria Jackson cosmetics several times now. Everyone raves about them so I must try them!
I see so much about Victoria Jackson nowadays, it looks like it must be an amazing brand of products!
I just bought make-up for the first time ever and I’m 34! lol I went to Ulta and had the lady do it up for me and tell me what would look good. Holy cow! $182 later I have make-up that I may wear once or twice. lol
I am a makeup junkie! It’s a secret passion of mine. I have makeup cases full of different brands of make up and massive collection. Makeup and applying it to others it’s a passion of mine to help others look and feel better by enhancing what natural beauty we have as women rather then covering up flaws. I did a hairstyling apprenticeship and got into loving making up way back when I was in high school. I love how light the colors are and I would be interested in trying out Victoria Jackson makeup line myself because I have sensitive skin and I love trying out cosmetics I didn’t see if they are animal testing free or not that would be my only concern about trying it out.
It’s really nice having an overview of each of the products like this. I’d love to give that mascara a try.
I am a daily makeup wearer but I also know how important it is to find a brand that you love and works for you. That said I’m always up for introductions to a new line or brand.
I am always looking for a good mascara. I love trying different products because they all offer something a little different. I will have to give this one a try. Clump free is something I appreciate.
I actually have some makeup from this line and I love their products. Not only do they provide great coverage but their colors last all day.
This sounds like really great makeup. I don’t wear any, but I will share this with my friends that do.
I don’t wear makeup, but that sounds like a great line for women who do wear it.
