My kids love The Veggie Tales. I was so upset when Ryan broke one of our DVDs over the summer. Veggie Tales are truly one of kind. It’s the only kids cartoon that I’m aware of that incorporate God in its teachings. Within their stories kids learn lessons about life that are confidence building and educational. What parent wouldn’t like that?
In the new Veggie Tales App kids learn the ABC’s. Bob and Larry’s ABC’s is interactive reading app helps children learn about the alphabet and the different sounds that letters make. As we prepare for kindergarten, this is a helpful tool for us.
You can select to have the book read to your child, and while reading the kids can enjoy playing with the characters and different elements on the page. Emma likes to tap the letters after the pages are read to hear them again.
As another option, you and your child can write your own stories and even save them to read later. This is a great feature, and one that will come in handy when you child begins learning to write and develop stories.
