Vampirina At The Beach Giveaway #VampirinaBallerina

By Heather

Post sponsored Disney-Hyperion

From Author Anne Marie Pace comes the latest Vampirina series book, Vampirina at The Beach. With her signature poise, Vampirina and her clan gear up for a festive time at the beach. Keeping her ballet lessons in mind, Vampirina demi-pliés on a surfboard, leaps for a volleyball, and finishes each competition with style, even if she doesn’t always come out on top. The series is recommended for ages 2-6.

About the Author
Anne Marie Pace is the author of Vampirina Ballerina and Vampirina Hosts a Sleepover, and has had stories, poems, and articles for kids published in such magazines as Highlights for Children, My Friend, Wee Ones, and On the Line. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia, with her husband and four teenagers.

Additional Titles in Vampirina Ballerina Series include:

Vampirina Ballerina
Oh, to be a ballerina! It’s a challenge for any little girl, but even more so if you happen to be a vampire like Vampirina. First of all, you have to find a class that meets at night. Then you have to figure out how to perfect your form when you can’t see yourself in the mirror?  And then there’s wearing pink (not the most flattering of colors if you happen to be undead) and that nagging urge to take a little nip out of the other dancers. And worse of all… STAGE FRIGHT!!!

Vampirina Ballerina Hosts a Sleepover
Before Vampirina can host her very first sleepover there are a few things she must keep in mind: be polite and offer her guests food (like blood pudding); plan some games like scavenger hunt (but keep the clues simple so no one gets lost); and don’t forget to dance! Vampirina may be a little nervous at first, but by following a few simple rules she will host the Best Sleepover Ever.

My granddaughter loves to read and these 2 books sound like fun for her. She probably would start with Vampirina at the Beach because it’s one of my granddaughter’s favorite places to go.

Kids these days hear and listen to a lot of news and have own political favorites. I think it’s important for young ones, especially girls, to learn about our world.

My 6 year old granddaughter is suddenly into vampires (something about a babysitter being a vampire??), so anyway I think she would love this. Thanks so much for the chance.
