Go ahead, I dare you. Try and pick just one pair of shoes from the Umi Kids fall collection. It’s a tough choice, because their styles are not only adorable, but they’re well-made too. Last year Emma wore the June Bug ankle boots from fall to the following spring and it doesn’t show. They still look practically new.

I think that’s what all families want for their kids’ back-to-school kicks. Shoes that will look great but also stand the test of time, and hold up to the abuse our kids can dish. Emma is definitely one of those children who is very hard on her footwear. We can’t get away with purchasing just a pretty pair of shoes – they have to be durable as well. This is why we love Umi Shoes.

We’re very excited that Emma will be starting a preschool in September, and she is going to be the most stylish kid in her class in these Stormie boots. I absolutely adore them (can ya make a pair for us moms too, Umi?) and Emma loves them too. Whenever she notices them in her closet she begs me to put them on her.

This pair definitely has that horseback-riding look to it, but with a hint of the unexpected – a shiny textured stripe down the center. It adds a bit of flair and dresses up the boot I think.
