Turbo Tax Deluxe Review and Give Away

We’ve been using TurboTax for the past few years and have been really happy with this program.  It’s a step-by-step way of doing your  taxes and for people who get easily confused over financials like me, a godsend.

This year, I used my existing login which pulled the previous year’s information and saved me from having to re-type personal details.  It also allowed me the opportunity to easily compare this year with last at a glance.

In the past, we hired a tax professional who was much more expensive and she made costly mistakes anyway. TurboTax is reasonably priced and offers helpful advice which makes us feel like we are getting the best of both worlds.  I remember searching the posted questions and answers last year, but now you can received advice by phone or chat, which is a great improvement on their service – for free.

Along with their biggest refund guarantee, you can’t go wrong.  If you just want to see for yourself, you can do your taxes right on the website and see exactly what your refund situation will be before filing.  You only pay when you file, and as always federal tax filing is free. I find Turbo Tax to be an easy way to do your taxes, and I don’t see us switching any time soon.

There are five software versions to fit your tax needs; the Deluxe version works for most families as it does for us. If you have kids, own a home, made donations or have medical expenses, TurboTax Deluxe easily gets you every tax deduction you deserve.
