Many children love music – both of mine certainly do. For Emma, it all started with Yo Gabba Gabba, and then we attended music class when she got a little older. Dancing to the music was one of her favorite pastimes. Now she doesn’t only dance but she sings along. It’s the cutest thing, whether she knows the words or not. And her little brother watches intently.
A few months back I attended the Time to Play showcase in New York. It was there where I saw the Baby Genius Be a Star Sing-Along Juke Box by Tollytots, and I knew this would be something that both of my children would enjoy.
This reminds me of those little mini jukeboxes you might see in an old diner. It works in very much the same way. There are “coins” that kids can drop in the slot to pretend to pay for the song. Coins are returned to a slot in the back, which also serves as a storage area when playtime is done.
After choosing the song by selecting the coordinating letter and number, the jukebox lights up as the song plays. There is a pretend microphone to the right if the child wants to really make a performance, karaoke style.
What a fun interactive toy, not only for the play factor but for learning new songs! It’s available at several retailers in-store and on-line for Thanks to the generosity of Tollytots Toys…
One lucky reader will win the Tollytots’ Baby Genius Be a Star Sing-Along Juke Box!
