The World of Eric Carle Baby Toys Review – Holiday Gift Guide

By Heather

worldofec_234x194

With the many baby toys we saved from Emma’s first year, Christmas shopping for little man is quite challenging.  I’m searching high and low for gift ideas that aren’t replicas of what we already have.

We absolutely love the book by Eric Carle, A Very Hungry Catterpillar. Who doesn’t? It’s a fun story about an endeariing caterpillar capturing a wonder of nature – its transformation into a butterfly. I had no clue that there were so many fun toys and accessories to go with the beloved children’s story.

appleplayset

One toy that we found was the Apple Playset. It’s a cute, apple-shaped container which contains a strawberry, blueberry, orange, apple and pear. Inside there is a squeaker in one, a crinkle sound, bells etc. And watch out for the hungry caterpillar! This is such a great toy for little ones to play, discover and develop motor skills.

jack-in-the-box

The Eric Carle Jack-in-the-box never really did anything for Emma. But Ryan can’t get enough of it! The Hungry Caterpillar pops out of the tin box as the music plays, and he just wants to do it again and again.

Both toys are available on Amazon for around $20.00. These classic, wholesome toys are perfect gifts for babies.

Disclosure: We receive complimentary samples in exchange for our candid review.
