Don’t laugh, but I am one of those strange people who loves going food shopping. I sing along to the music, browse product prices and compare ingredients. I really enjoy it. Now that Emma is a toddler, I realize just how much easier food shopping was when she could fit into the infant carrier. She’d either sleep through the entire shopping trip or play with a small toy to make her happy and I would take my sweet time.
Now, I have to be armed with snacks wherever we go. Particularly Goldfish. Emma loves her some goldfish crackers. They diffuse tantrums on a daily basis. I normally keep a small container filled with her snacks inside my diaper bag, but it’s a pain getting it in and out of the bag and feeding her as I try to shop and look through my coupons. I would not dare give her the entire container to hold, because it would go flying, and I don’t want to get sued by any innocent bystanders! It’s just been way more stressful than fun to food shop lately.
The On Tray was invented by a mom who understands my woes. She got the idea for this invention after a stressful trip to her supermarket with her two boys in tow. Her hands were occupied by the kids’ snacks, and she left the store feeling frazzled.
The On Tray attaches easily to your shopping cart handle. It comes with a lid which is great for storing baby’s snacks. When you’re ready to use the snack tray, simply slide off the lid and reattach it to the bottom. It is made of BPA free plastic and can be used in the microwave and dishwasher, and best of all it is manufactured in the U.S.A.
This morning I grabbed both the On Tray and my digital camera as we left for the supermarket, but the camera never made it from the car to the store. Luckily, it also fits Emma’s shopping cart at home so I could show you all how it works! Check out Elmo and his On Tray! Of course, we’re using it backwards because there isn’t enough room between the handle and Elmo. :)
This is a great product, invented by a smart mom. The On Tray will be a staple for all future shopping trips, for sure! If you don’t have kids, there are other great uses for the On Tray; Use it to hold coupons, a calculator, lists, or anything else your heart desires.
BUY IT! The On Tray is a bargain buy – it costs only $7.00!
WIN IT! One lucky reader will receive an on tray to call their own!
To Enter: Visit On Tray, and tell me a store closest to you that carries this nifty product (even if it’s the next state) and include your postal code.
The opinions above are my own. I received an On Tray to test, and nothing else. Contest is open to US residents and closes at Midnight EST on February 25th. The winner will be chosen using Random.org. Please leave your email address either in your comment or make sure it is listed on your profile page so that I have a way to contact you.
