It’s funny how your views on certain products can change with baby number two. While at my shower I received a baby carrier, I only used it maybe twice at the most. Once only to make room in my small shopping cart at Home Goods.
It was easier before, in my opinion, to just plop Emma into her travel system and go. But now that I’m going to have a little one and a very active three-year-old, I know I won’t want to be wheeling around the stroller after child numero uno.
A baby carrier is going to be an essential this time around, I know. Especially at the playground or even the back yard, it will make my life easier to have my hands free to push Emma’s swing while the little guy is snuggled next to my chest.
I liked the gender-neutral color of this particular Boba carrier, especially since there is a chance my husband might end of using it. It’s also available in more girl, fun patterns. The carrier can be worn over your chest or behind your back.
The Boba Carrier 3G is similar to the other carrier I had in its basic form, but here they’ve added additional features that add to the convenience for parents and the baby’s comfort, like removable foot straps and detachable hood for a napping baby.
The cotton fabric is very comfortable for the wearer and the baby, and the straps and belt have just the right amount of padding. It’s built to last and can be used for babies 7 lbs. or more and toddlers up to 40 lbs.
There are several hidden pouches and pockets for your id, keys and baby wipes, so the wearer can truly have both hands free.
How much? The Boba Carrier is about $120-$125, which is on the high end for a baby carrier. However with all of its features/attention to detail, and long length of use I think it is money well spent.
