Taste of Nature Party #RealTastesGood

By Heather

tasteofnaturebars

My kids are not very good eaters, but they’re snacking pros. If I’m going to give them a snack, which is sometimes in lieu of a meal, they better be healthy ones. When we found out we’d be hosting a Taste of Nature party, the kids were so excited about having friends over, and I was eager to give the snack bars a try. We had received our package over a month ago!

The funny thing is, when the kids saw what we’d be snacking on, they were interested too! I mean, who wouldn’t? They look absolutely delicious and you can see right through the clear wrapper that they’re chock full of yummy nuts and juicy fruit. I set up a platter with a few of each variety and watched them slowly disappear. It was an amazing sight to see, because my kids hardly ever choose a healthy snack.

Taste of Nature believes Real Tastes Good, and creates delicious, certified organic, gluten-free certified, non-gmo project verified snack bars with real nuts, fruits and grains. No fillers, chemicals or anything artificial. There are six delicious flavors: Brazilian Nut Festival, California Almond Valley, Quebec Cranberry Carnival, Canadian Maple Forest, Himalayan Goji Summit, and Persian Pomegranate Garden. Each one is under 200 calories.

Did you know that 42 percent of snackers are most likely to have an unhealthy snack between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm? This is totally me – I can be good all morning and for lunch, and then my cravings kick in later in the day. These were perfect for our afternoon play date!

It wouldn’t be a play date without some fun classic toys. Paddle ball, anyone? The kids had a lot of fun playing and eating together.

We sent our guests home with some awesome swag courtesy of Taste of Nature, including the fun paddle ball games – and I threw in some extra bars for good measure. I figured this would give them a chance to try each flavor and share with their families at home.

I will definitely be buying these at my local Whole Foods and Superfresh markets. Cost per bar is about $1.99. Find out where you can find Taste of Nature bars. Like them on Facebook, and follow on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram for their latest news.

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

I love snack bars that are full of nuts but they are usually far too expensive. I will try these. They look great.

Oh I love that they are gluten free! I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about 7 years ago now, and am always looking for new things to try! I will look for these at the store! I love they have no fillers too!
