Last year we made these fun crayon hearts for Emma’s classroom peers. They were a big hit and a lot of fun to make! But this year, we’re giving the kids something sweeter: Sweethearts Conversation Hearts in fun Color-Your-Own boxes. I suppose you could let the giftee color their own box, but I like the idea of having your child color them for each of their friends. It adds a personal touch to this Valentine gift!
For the purpose of this review, Emma colored a box for her little brother. I think she did a great job, and she had a lot of fun doing it. This will be our keep-busy project of the week in preparation for her class Valentine’s Day party.
The boxes contain little sugar conversation hearts complete with sweet, quirky sayings that have been a Valentine’s Day staple for the last century.
NECCO, the manufacturer of Sweethearts, makes 8 billion candy hearts each year to meet demand! Necco is also launching a “Color Your Own” contest so kids can share their unique Sweethearts box designs with the world for the chance to win sweet prizes like $1,000 savings bonds!

I’d give them to my daughter’s classmates have her color them.
