Sunology Natural Suncreen for the Entire Family {Giveaway}

By Heather

sunology

I keep hearing about chemicals being added to our food and skincare products. The more I learn about possible health effects, the more I’m drawn toward buying organic. Last year we dabbled with organic sunscreen, and this year we’re all in. What you put on your skin goes into your bloodstream, folks!

sunologyactiveSunology® is made with VitaOleféra™ Complex which has natural Vitamins A,C & E, Antioxidants and Omega 6 and Omega 9 oils. There are four products: SPF 50 for body, SPF 50 for face, SPF 50 for kids and a SPF 35 sports stick. Each is formulated without the following man-made chemical ingredients:

  • Avobenzone
  • Cinoxate
  • Dioxybenzone
  • Ensulizole
  • Homosalate
  • Meradimate
  • Menthyl Anthranilate
  • Octinoxate (also known as Octyl Methoxycinnamate)
  • Octisalate (also known as Octyl Salicylate)
  • Octocrylene
  • Oxybenzone
  • Padimate O
  • Para Amino Benzoic Acid (known as PABA)
  • Sulisobenzone
  • Trolamine Salicylate

We have been using this line for several weeks. I like that it’s odorless so you can truly wear it daily without smelling like you’re beach-bound. Of course I also love protecting the kids’ skin without the nasty chemicals.

How much? Sunology is currently running a sale so you can snag each product for only $10.99 (down from $14.99)

My kids are allergic to oxybenzone so I like that this doesn’t have any chemical active ingredients. We’d use this at the pool and beach

  7. Laurie Emerson says

I want to try it as it is so much safer than the sunscreen we use now. I would use it when we go to the beach.

I like that it’s free of so many chemicals. I’d use it at the beach.

If I’m out in the sun for any length of time, I burn burn burn and so does my little one. We are both fair skinned. Been looking for an all natural sunscreen that works. Would wear it whenever we go outside.
