We love to entertain, and I’m always buying serve ware that fits our buffet-style food settups. Last year I found beverage dispensers at the supermarket and knew they’d be perfect for Ryan’s baptism celebration. I made fresh lemonade in one and sangria in the other. They did the job. However, after using them two or three times the plastic started getting pitted, which I assume is due to the acidity in both the lemons and wine.
I was immediately drawn to the Artland Twice as Nice Dual Beverage Dispenser from Kohls because it was both beautiful and practical at the same time. Instead of having two separate units, I can easily serve two separate drinks with this dispenser. And being that it’s made of glass and not plastic, I know this will hold up way better than my old plastic containers.
Just look at it! It’s gorgeous. The base will hold ice or anything else that might fit your theme. I like the idea on the product page using lemons and limes, but the options here are endless. Going for a beach party theme? Fill it with sand and seashells. A luau? Use flowers and grass. You get the idea.
Above the base goes the metal piece that has a romantic wrought-iron look to it and serves as a stand for the glass beverage dispensers. I like how the metal piece is designed to fit around the hardware, which is top notch quality by the way. The mechanisms on my other dispensers don’t even compare.
Since this is glass as I mentioned, the piece is very heavy so it helps that there are several pieces to it. The weight helps to prevent tipping also. The only drawback for me is that it doesn’t hold a whole lot of liquid. With 1 gallon of storage in each dispenser, I know that I’m going to constantly have to refill throughout our parties.
