Summer Infant Booster Seat Review

By Jennifer

Most parents know how unattractive baby/child items can be – lots of large, plastic and colorful items – usually taking over every room in your house! Lucky for all, Summer Infant just-released, modern, child booster seats. The Summer Infant Booster Seat is the latest addition to their popular Summer Infant Bentwood collection, a contemporary wood collection with gentle arching lines. I LOVE the dark wood, since the trim in our house is dark wood so the chair totally fits in!

Here are just some of the great features of the Bentwood Booster:

•   It’s a stylish, lightweight, user-friendly wood seat that is a great high chair alternative.

•   It includes a cushioned seat, 3-position recline, and 3-position tray to provide comfort and support for a growing baby.

•   Its modern design flows wonderfully with any kitchen décor.

Once I got a close look I noticed the wood is very substantial and the green padding is a nice touch.  It also has all of the typical booster seat features as well (safety straps, straps to attach to chair, removable tray):

The sliding tray is different than our prior booster which snapped on.  It’s a bit more difficult to put on but it feels much more secure when it is on (no baby can pull it off):

We recently brought the Summer Bentwood Booster to visit Grandpa and Grammy.  Here is Natalie clearly pleased with her new seat (and the apples she just ate):

This is a great option beyond the typical baby gear! Check out all of the wonderful Summer Infant products on their website and check Facebook and Twitter for product updates!

This is a really nice booster seat. Some of the ones that I have seen in the past are not very decorative and don’t fit into a lot of decors. This one is esthetically nice and it is compact.

Looks like a nice booster. Wish we had their products when ours were little.
