Strawberry Shortcake was one of my beloved characters when I was a little girl, so I just love that she’s making a comeback. What parent doesn’t love to relive their childhood a bit?
Emma is just now getting to her through the new DVD Strawberry Shortcake: Puttin on the Glitz.

Our thoughts
Emma loved watching this DVD. The colors are so bright and vivid, and the animation is very cool to watch. I’m still getting used to the fact that Strawberry has grown into a cellphone-using teenager. I miss the old Strawberry, but I guess that’s the way it goes. Kids these days love to watch shows about older characters. But at least Strawberry Shortcake still helps teach kids right from wrong.
But this is how I’ll always remember her.
No compensation was received for this post. I was sent a complimentary copy of the DVD to facilitate my candid review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Omg, is that how she looks now? Talk about glitzy, lol.
My daughter would love this.
WHAT? She’s a teen?
