It’s finally getting warmer out; time start thinking about new shoes for Spring and Summer! The other day, I took both kids to be fit for new shoes and we tried on a whole slew of them. There were shoes with laces, velcro, washable and non washable. Then the challenge is to find a pair we both agree on. I almost always leave the store with a headache.
When we arrived home we saw a package and it was from Pediped. We had provided Emma’s shoe size but had no idea what pediped® was sending, so this was a fun surprise! The beauty of not having to make a decision ;). Inside we found a pair of bright pink Flex Minnies. Last Summer we reviewed the Darcy which is very similar.
I love a shoe that will last several seasons and the Flex Minnie will do just that. In Spring, these can be worn with socks. But come Summer, Emma will have a shoe that she can wear everywhere – from the backyard to the sandy beach and even in the water.
My daughter is particularly hard on her footwear and is a pro at getting them dirty. Since the soles are pink and not white, they stay cleaner looking longer. Because this shoe is water safe, they’re also washable which is a must for any casual shoes I buy for Emma.
These are great shoes that we both love for different reasons. Emma says, “They’re perfect!”
