Stationery by Korto Momolu for SanLori {Review & Giveaway}

The week before last I had the pleasure of reviewing a fun candle from the “Hot Chicks” collection at SanLori – you can enter the giveaway here.  Though it sure would have made a great gift to give for Christmas, I kept it for myself.  That Cosmo-Compatible candle smells so good and it makes me feel pampered when I burn it so, why not?

At SanLori, candles are just the tip of the iceberg.  Stationery is among many other fabulous gift ideas.  In this day and age of high-tech instant communication, it’s always a treat to receive a personally hand-written note in the mail.  One written on Korto Momolu for SanLori would make me feel all the more special.

In case you’re not familiar, Korto is a two-time first runner-up and fan favorite on Bravo’s hit TV show Project Runway, and a hot new fashion designer.

I received a set of the “Inspired” stationery which features the words, “Faith, Hope, Inspire, Dream, Believe” in the colors green, lavender and blue.  Aqua colored self-adhesive gems are also included.  After writing your note, it’s easy to apply and adds so much to the finished notecard.   The bright blue envelopes bring the look all together.

Also a part of Korto’s line are her whimsical candles that come in an 8 ounce tin and sprinkled with “glitter”.  This beach-themed one I received matches with the stationery perfectly and smells just beautiful.  The only negative thing I would say is that the graphic around the tin wasn’t applied neatly enough.  You can see a bunch of air bubbles in my photograph below.

The candle is just over $12.00 and the 8-card stationery sets are just $14.00.  A nice set to give as a gift.
