Back when I gained the freshmen 15 20, losing weight was a whole lot easier. I was much younger which no doubt helped my cause, but I didn’t yet have the responsibilities that I do now. No children to care for, no house to clean and heck I didn’t even have to cook for myself for several years. It was much easier to focus on a diet and exercise program then, but it can still be done now. As long as I have the right tools.
Last summer I lost about about 10 pounds on a low carb diet, but it aggravated a chronic stomach condition. If there’s one thing I’ve learned by trying various fad diets over the years, it’s that my body (and I believe every body) needs to eat a balance of carbohydrates, protein, fiber and fat to run efficiently. I can do that with Weight Watchers 360°, and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to share my journey with you.
I’m on day two. So far so good. I’ve done Weight Watchers before. Twice before. Both times I was on the program I became pregnant and therefore was forced to quit. Now that I’m all done making babies, I’m ready to get back to it. I love that this program keeps you from feeling deprived – you really can have everything in moderation. But Weight Watchers teaches you how to make the right choices and create good habits. You quickly learn that if you it the right foods, you can enjoy more of it.
As Weight Watchers embarks on its 50th anniversary in 2013, they are changing their program to go beyond tracking points. Their new program, aptly called Weight Watchers 360°, is a breakthrough approach that challenges members to not only track their food intake (PointsPlus), but also to manage those daily routines and spaces that sabotage weight loss. The new program encompasses three pillars:
- Tracking. Track food with PointsPlus, record weight and physical activity
- (NEW!) Spaces. You create and commit to an action plan and bookmark tips under these six environments: home, shopping, workplace, eating out, travel and occasions). You can get prompts in panic moments like “is fast food your only option?” when you are in the airport.
- (NEW!) Routines. You choose three routines (16 available) to follow every day (e.g., eat fruit with every meal). Record success daily.”
When I first signed in I was guided through a quick process and received my daily and weekly allowances.
I also downloaded the web app and the Weight Watchers UPC scanner. I am really impressed with all of the new tools and the user friendly interface both on the mobile app and the website!
Follow along on my journey and help keep me accountable. I will take all of the support I can get! I will be instagram-ing photos with recipes and exercise ideas so be sure to follow me there as well!
I have received 3 months of Weight Watchers’ E-Tools in order to share my honest journey and true experience with you.

An affordable web site dessign company is often a company that gives yoou its designing services on this kind of
price that you can easily afford and bear. 2011 will see a far more wide-spread venture
