Like it or not, Spring is here. The temps are finally starting to creep up around here and yet my kids still need a little encouragement to take their bodies outside. Perhaps this is the side effect of a long, cold winter season. On Monday I had to pry their fingers off of their video game controllers and devices and actually force them to get a dose of Vitamin D by riding their bikes.
There are so many wonderful benefits to outdoor play for kids of all ages. Outdoor play contributes not only to a person’s physical health but social and emotional well-being as well. One thing I notice with my children is that it’s not always easy to get them outside, but they have a wonderful time once they’re in that environment. Just today we took a ride to a nearby park complete with muddy trails. It started raining when we arrived, but nobody seemed to care. We had a blast exploring and interacting with the playground that is nature. This allows us to get much needed exercise, release stress and learn about our surroundings.
I think all humans are creatures of habit. We are simply used to hanging out indoors after the nasty weather forced us there five (or so) months ago. I know one thing that would entice my children to seek the change of scenery: a brand new backyard complete with a big trampoline and other fun outdoor gear. And for me? Some beautiful new landscaping would make me happy. Thanks to Springfree Trampoline, we can increase our chances of getting everyone into the great outdoors with a chance to win it all with the Backyard Summer Refresh Giveaway!

A trampoline in the backyard, now that’s the dream for the kids! Too bad our backyard isn’t big enough to actually have one of these.
Trampolines typically look so dangerous to me. This one actually looks safe and fun. Thanks!
My kids have been BEGGING for a trampoline for as long as I can remember. They would absolutely love this!
I would love a summer backyard refresh. We are currently working on plans to install a hot tub in our backyard and I am going to DIY a ton of yard games, but I would love to win a project like this!
Definitely having something fun to urge the kids outside is a plus. Although I wish they would go and make their own fun, it’s worth the purchase to get them up and out!
Trampolines are great and especially in the summer these assume importance. A trampoline in the backyard is a great way to keep the kids engaged. This one looks perfect and safe too.
It’s really important for the kids to be active as much as they can be and Summer is the perfect season for them to do different things outdoors. This trampoline is awesome to have! It’s so much fun!
My kids love outdoors! When we used to live at our old house, we had a huge trampoline. We left it there when we bought a new home.
I seriously want one of those trampolines and I don’t even have children! lol As a former competitive gymnast, I am obsessed with flipping and jumping on trampolines. I’ll definitely get one when I have children of my own so that can stay active.
That looks so fun! I’m an adult and I want to jump on this thing and make baskets. I miss our trampoline. We had to sell it when we moved to Colorado.
