The UPS and FedEx men make regular stops at our house. It’s always exciting getting a new package and wondering what is inside – not only for me but for the kids too. Yesterday we had a very fun delivery. We barely opened the box when I posted this photo on instagram. How cute are they?!
It’s not like we needed a new shape of gummies to make our children eat them. This is candy, Gummi candy. One thing I don’t have to force my daughter to eat. It always was and will be tasty as well as fat and gluten free. But it sure is fun to see how much the kids enjoy seeing their favorite characters shaped into Gummi candy. It makes the treat that much more fun.
I love them now, but as a kid I would have been enamored with these Smurf Gummi candies. The Smurfs was the “it” show back in the day, and it’s fun to see them make a comeback. My favorite character was Smurfette of course, and Gargamel was the one me and my friends loved to hate.
Now with the new Smurfs 2 movie out in movie theaters, I can’t think of a better snack to enjoy while watching our favorite village of happy blue people. Inside the package is the standard smurf shape as well as Papa Smurf and Smurfette shaped into delicious Gummi candy from Haribo.
The candy is strawberry and raspberry flavored. They’re colored blue with red, white and yellow accents to depict the particular smurf characters. You can find the Haribo Smurf candy in 4-ounce bags nationwide for approximately $1.09 – $1.69.
I won’t tell if you sneak them into the theater this August to munch on while you’re watching the Smurfs 2 movie. Kids will love the additional surprise! Keep up with Haribo on their Facebook page.

I love the way those look! I don’t like gummies, but my kids do and I’ll bet they’d get a huge kick out of these!
