ShaToBu – The Workout You Wear – is shapewear that touts it’s ability to help women shape, tone and burn more calories during everyday activities like walking.

Built in resistance bands in the shapewear make your muscles work just a bit harder than they ordinarily would, allowing you to burn more calories while going through your day.  When you’re a super busy mom that multitasks every activity, this earns bonus points.  If I can’t do at least two things at once, I seriously consider cutting that activity from my day!

I love shapewear. I really only started trying it out during pregnancy but I wish I’d found it sooner because I just adore it. So when I heard about ShaToBu, I was intrigued. Shapewear that helps you tone and build muscle? Yes, please! Picked out a super cute pair of black high waisted tights pronto because who doesn’t love tights with…well, with anything in the fall and winter? And can I just tell you – one of my pet peeves is when tights end up sheer enough to be stockings? Soooo not the case here. These are nice and sturdy – they are definitely tights and look great under a skirt or under a tunic or sweater dress.

As I squeezed into them, I knew already they’d be a nice addition to any outfit. They tucked me in all the right places and kept everything looking nice and trim. As I said, they look great, as well. I found them comfy even though they are apparently working out my problem areas :)
