Over the past several years that I’ve been blogging, I have heard many good things about Shabby Apple. Their women’s dresses are different from any others I’ve seen – in a good way. The styles are reminiscent of days gone by, many of them having a vintage flair. The fashions are modest and sophisticated, but you certainly won’t look like grandma. That’s for certain.
I absolutely love this dress, called Spanish Steps, but I don’t necessarily know if I could pull it off with my body type.
The Bali H’ai dress is so adorable, I almost chose it for this giveaway.
But then I saw this one – the aintree women’s dress. Description:
Named for the home of the famous Grand National Steeplechase in Merseyside, England, this deceptively simple satin champion is a thoroughbred of style. The iced quartz color is a silvery blend of English grey and pale lilac, and the slight sheen of the satin material allows for easy transfer from a day at the races to a night on the town. Perhaps even more memorable from behind, the Aintree’s reverse side features a darling keyhole at the back of the neck as well as a mid-back diamond design dropping into seven rows of elegant pleating to the hem. Machine wash cold, delicate cycle. Designed exclusively for Shabby Apple by Emerging Designer Kathryn Phillips.
It looks perfect for fall when paired with a pair of riding boots as seen in the photo above. Don’t you love it?
One lucky reader will win the aintree dress from Shabby Apple! (US – Ends 9/20)
