When I’m looking for high quality candy, the first place I look is the See’s Candies website. I was so excited when the contacted me to do a review, and I happily put my diet on hold to do some taste-testing.
The first and only thing I’d ever tried from See’s Candies are the Toffee-ettes. I ordered them from a friend’s child who was selling them in a fundraiser. They were so good that I polished off the entire canister without sharing once. Not sorry. I knew I wanted these again and lo and behold, after a few short weeks they are gone.
They are a crunchy, nutty toffee covered in chocolate and rolled in more nuts. So buttery and delicious, I recommend everyone try them.
Even though we were well-past St. Patrick’s Day, I still wanted to try their Irish Potatoes. They are a limited time treat and are no longer for sale, but look for them next year. They are different from the standard irish potato candies people make. These are made with nougat and walnuts. They are very good and I will be sharing these at Easter.
I liked that the ‘potatoes’ are individually boxed, but I can’t eat an entire one by myself. They are very large, but I will slice so everyone can have a taste.
Lastly, I picked out some Easter candy for the kids. The milk chocolate eggs are so creamy and divine. They are perfect for hiding in Easter eggs for the kids since they’re individually wrapped. For their Easter baskets, I chose the Spring bunnies box for Ryan and the Happy Easter box for Emma. These each contain plenty of candy for kids and I love that they are packaged for only $7 a piece.
As you can see, the holiday candies sell out fast, so plan ahead and place your orders for Mother’s Day!
