I was so excited when See Kai Run asked me to choose a pair for Emma from the Spring 2010 catalog. When browsing through the new collection, the Shari lemon yellow maryjanes really caught my eye. The leather is a beautiful shade of yellow (my photographs really don’t do it justice), with flower accents. I’d been looking for a pretty yellow shoe to dress up a pair of jeans like these do.
See Kai Run – Review
Ever since I saw a blog featuring See Kai Run footwear a few months back, I’ve been wanting to try a pair on Emma. These adorable shoes are designed by a mompreneur who saw the need for hip, urban toddler shoes that are also healthy for growing feet. The inspiration behind this venture was her son named, you guessed it-Kai.
The soles are extremely flexible which is a very important factor for me when buying her shoes, and they go on and off easily thanks to the wide opening and the velcro straps. This is a huge plus for me, as my child does not like to sit still to be dressed. The shoes are also very breathable so her feet stay nice and dry and they have a padded collar for added comfort. See Kai Run shoes are made of sheepskin leather, much more durable than cow leather which is more commonly used. I love that the designs are a modern take on classic styles. The Shari shoes we tried are a part of the 2010 Spring line and are not available for sale until February.
No compensation was received for this review post. See Kai Run sent us a sample pair from their Spring 2010 line, and I offered my honest opinion. Yours may differ.
