I try not to keep chocolate in the house all year long because I find it to be all too addicting. But if you can’t indulge a little bit throughout the holidays, where’s the fun in that?
The festive wrapping on the Seattle Chocolates we were sent was so adorable, I almost didn’t want to unwrap it. Almost. Descriptions like Holiday Cheer Eggnog, Hot Buttered Rum Truffle, Christmas Cookie Truffle, Mom’s Hot Cocoa, and Candy Cane Crunch were just to tempting for my faltering willpower.
As it turned out, my favorite one was the first I tried – Hot Buttered Rum. It had little toffee bits inside combined with the creamy truffle chocolate, heavenly.
There really was not one flavor I didn’t like of those I tried. The rest were gobbled up by the rest of the family. These would have been great as small gifts or even stocking stuffers had we not devoured them selfishly.

I’ve never heard of Seattle Chocolates before, but this makes me want to run out and order some. Especially that egg nog one. Yum!
