I’ve been using a professional ceramic hairdryer for a couple of years now. It dries my hair faster than any dryer I’ve ever tried, and for me that’s a big deal because I absolutely hate taking the time to dry my hair. If it can be done in 5 minutes, I’m more likely to do it. Unfortunately, my dryer has been on the fritz, but I was in no rush to spend $150 to replace it.
Recently, I received an email about the new Laser Brilliance Infrared Dryer and I thought I’d give it a try. This new dryer from Revlon incorporates ceramic and ionic benefits for even heat distribution. I guess I’ve become a bit of a hairdryer snob, because I honestly didn’t expect much from a $30 hairdryer, but I was pleasantly surprised. This dryer uses 1875 watts versus my old 2000-watt dryer, however it dries my hair just as quickly and when I use the concentrator I have very few annoying flyaways. It has now become the only hairdryer I use.
The one downside to this dryer is that it will “eat” hair. The saving grace again is the concentrator – it not only directs the heat for a smooth finish but it provides a barrier to protect hair strands from becoming sucked into the end of the dryer. I can only use this dryer with the concentrator attachment. The dryer also comes with a diffuser attachment.
The Laser Brilliance Infrared Dryer features heat and speed settings as well as a cool button. Find it at Ulta and Target stores for $29.99. It’s an excellent choice if you’re looking for a quality hair dryer without breaking the bank. For more information, visit http://www.revlonhairtools.com.
