I don’t remember when I had my first buffalo wing, but I’m pretty sure that moment was life changing. I never miss an opportunity to try anything buffalized, and buffalo wings are a treat that I normally only get to have in a restaurant. Recently we visited a new Super Walmart with a deli that serves up wings and things, so we picked up hot wings to bring home and enjoy with dinner.
The Walmart Deli provides Tyson wings in Bone-in Hot Wings and Boneless General Tso’s flavors. They can be purchased in a Pick 3 Bucket, a plated meal, or wings by the pound. We purchased a pound of wings and some other essentials including celery and Kraft ranch dressing.
Once we arrived home, I couldn’t wait to sink my teeth into the hot wings. They smelled great the whole way home! I got to work in creating a dip for them. I prefer ranch dressing over blue cheese, but I like the blue cheese crumbles, so I like to make my own dip. I was thinking about how great celery goes with hot wings and blue cheese. I thought, why not incorporate the crunchy celery into my dip? So that’s exactly what I did.
First I mixed together the ranch dressing and the celery salt. Then I added the chopped celery and finally the blue cheese crumbles. Such an easy recipe that tastes great with hot buffalo wings.
Even easier is being able to pick up already cooked and seasoned wings from Walmart. I love that they’re warm and ready to go. It definitely makes game day menu planning a breeze whether you’re tailgating at the game or watching at home.
