Over the summer, Emma started showing an interest in scooters. She kept borrowing them from her neighborhood friends , so I knew it was time to get her own. When the Razor E100 Glow Electric Scooter arrived, she couldn’t wait to try it. My husband assembled it, charged it and when we went to use it the battery would not kick on. We called customer service and determined that there was a faulty battery so they sent a replacement. Once we received the correct replacement, we finally got to see what this thing could do.
Razor’s E100 Glow Electric Scooter goes fast, a little too fast for my six year old. You kick start the scooter manually and then once you get a good speed going, you twist the handle backwards to activate the electric power. The scooter board lights up neon blue (doesn’t every kid love things that glow in the dark?), and the scooter moves up to 10 mph. That’s fast!
The power lasts up to 40 minutes and when it’s running low, you just have to plug it in to charge for a few hours. Like I said this scooter does go fast so I think it’s best to stick to the recommended age, 8 and older or for younger children that are a bit more daring. My daughter loves the E100 but gets scared when it goes a bit to fast for her but I think in time she will get used to it. In the meantime she can use it as a cool kick scooter and then use the power when she’s ready.
I love that it features a kick-stand so that you can stand the scooter upright. There is also a hand-brake on the left handle in case you need to stop. You can find the Razor E100 Glow Electric Scooter on Amazon for a great price.
Sample received for consideration.
Would be so awesome to get one like this for my son. I actually haven’t seen many kids with scooters around my area this year.
This would make such a great gift. My kids would love it.
These new scooters are awesome. There is so much cooler than the ones that came out when I was younger. I would totally ride this!
Oh my daughter would love this! She has been asking for a bike but I think this would be so much more fun haha!
You had me at kickstand and brake! My little ones have scooters, but no brake or kick stand.. They are constantly being tripped over and their shoes are getting worn out from using them as brakes.
