I don’t know what happens at your house, but Santa brings goodies for the pets too. Stockings are hung for each and every member of our family, including the furry ones.
Christmas gifts for dogs and dog owners
1. Yummy, delicious treats.
The way to your dog’s heart is through his or her stomach. Treats are a delicious and healthy natural snack you’d be proud to gift them over the holidays.
2. Donation to pet shelter.
Personally, I love when people make a donation in my name. I really don’t need a thing, and it warms my heart to know that someone in need is getting help – especially when it’s animals. Shelters are very crowded this time of year especially, but they need donations all year long. Any pet lover would be thrilled to get this gift for Christmas.
3. A new food/water bowl.
A nice shiny new bowl is always a nice idea. Our bowls get dirty and gross so I always welcome a new one. But that doesn’t mean we’d throw it away (see gift idea #2 above).
4. Toys
It’s funny, because I was looking for a new frisbee for my kids and I kept coming across ones made for dogs. There were lots of cool outside toys for dogs which make a great gift and good exercise for not only the dog but the pet parent.
5. A pet portrait ornament
This one again is geared toward the pet parent, but isn’t it just precious? This would make a lovely personalized gift to be enjoyed during this Christmas season and each one to come.

These all look great. I’m always on the hunt for good and new treats for my pups. I would love to try the chicken tenders with them and see how they like them!
