Princess Tasty Baker by Pop Art Toaster {Review + Giveaway}

By Heather

Closed
It’s a daily battle getting Emma to east her meals.  She’s becoming very picky with her food, but is always “hungry” for snack foods.  I know I’m not alone here, and I also know that kids love foods that come in different shapes.  Why not add some fun to their meals to get your children interested?  It can’t hurt, and Pop Art Toaster makes it easy to do.

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to try out the Princess Tasty Baker.  It looks very similar to one of those sandwich makers we used to have (or still haven’t unpacked from our move 3+ years ago).  This appliance will cook pancakes, waffles, brownies, cakes, breads, and even eggs.

The Disney molds cook all of these delicious foods in the shape of all things your little Princess needs: a Princess, gown, tiara, rose, and of course the castle.

Over the weekend we had company, so I made a blueberry pancake and turkey bacon breakfast for all of us.  It was the perfect opportunity to put the Princess Tasty Baker to the test.  I sprayed the plates, and put the appliance on the #2 setting, because usually when I’m multitasking I tend to burn things.

It took a fair amount of time to cook the pancakes, so I think the setting was a little too low.  The pancakes cooked evenly, but I think next time I’ll use a higher setting.  Like with most appliances, I feel you have to play with it a bit before you get the desired results.  Next time I think I’ll try the #4 setting.

I was a little nervous about cleaning the appliance but it was actually very easy.  The plates have a non-stick coating which I’m sure helps.  The Princess Tasty Baker costs $34.99 and can be purchased here.  It also comes with a scoop for pouring batter and a cleaning brush.
