The Power of Friendship

By Heather

Post published in partnership with Friendship Dairy.

Friends come and go throughout our lives. As we change, our friends change. They say that friends come easy while the living is good, but the true test is when life knocks you down. I have discovered over the last couple of years just how true that statement is. But how many of us can truly say that our friends would drop everything going on in their lives to help in an emergency? Watch this video and see what happened with this group of ladies. It’s such a heartwarming video and a testament to true friendships.

The Power of Friendship

I’ve been fortunate enough to have a few really awesome people in my life who would drop everything for me too. Whether they’re attending a barbecue or tackling other important to-do lists, I know that they would cast it all aside to be at my door if needed.

Earlier this year, I was flip-flopping on having a surgery done out of fear and one of my friends showed just how much she cared by calling me each day to encourage me to move forward. There was a possibility that I had cancer in my body and I had already canceled one surgery. She prevented me from chickening out a second time and was there any time I needed to talk or didn’t want to be alone. I will forever be grateful for that, and I think everyone deserves that kind of love and support in their lives.

Friendship Dairies® www.friendshipdairies.com has been making high-quality cottage cheese, sour cream, farmer cheese and buttermilk for the last 100 years. As a product, they have integrity. As a brand, they hold together, stay true to who they are, and encourage others to do the same. They’re purveyors of friendship and believe that friends open each other up to new experiences. They turn their loyalists into advocates, and their easy, crowd-pleasing recipes prove just how surprisingly fun sharing friendship can be.

Spending time with friends is amazing – it can be so helpful if you’re in any sort of rut! Having a group no matter how big or small makes a huge difference! Couldn’t agree more!

I live very far from my old friends, it can be quite difficult when you have no one to share with. I hope to make new friends some time.

I haven’t had time with friends recently. It seems like life just got too busy for each of us. I guess it’s the perfect season to see them.

Seems like most of my friends have ventured off into new areas and we never make time for each other, which is so important. I know, pick up the phone and call them.r

I finally got out with my girlfriends last night for a much needed Mom’s Night Out. I’m so grateful I can share my life with such wonderful women. Sounds like I need to share yummy dairy treats with them too!

I think having strong bonds and friendships is super important and makes you a stronger person. Sometimes you need that encouragement and reliability to help you out of a funk or help you make a tough decision!
