Potty Training with Pampers Easy Ups #PampersEasyUps

By Heather

This post is sponsored by Pampers.

Pampers_Logo_TealPotty training lost is luster a while back, and we are just now getting into the swing of things again. I’m hoping this summer will be our turning point for my youngest. One thing that I know will help is having a diaper that is easy to get on and off, that acts like a pair of underpants but with the backup plan of a diaper.

That’s half the battle. It’s not such an easy feat getting a regular diaper off and then on again. Easy Ups are going to be our stepping stone into potty training for good. We have been using them even before we agreed to work with Pampers on this campaign, and we absolutely love them. They’re not bulky like other pull on styles we’ve tried, and Ryan loves that they feature Thomas the Train. (It’s Dora for girls)

Easy Ups Feature:

  • An absorbent core that holds 25% more than the other leading training pant (Huggies® Pull-Ups® Learning Designs®) and ensures little ones remain dry
  • Pampers Easy Ups® have fewer leaks than the other leading training pant (Huggies® Pull-Ups® Learning Designs®)
  • Fun Thomas & Friends® designs for boys and Dora the Explorer® designs for girls
  • A more underwear-like design for growing toddlers
  • Graphics that fade when wet to help little ones learn
  • Super-stretchy sides to make them easy to pull up and down when using the potty
  • Available for Boys and Girls sizes 2T/3T through 4T/5T

We had a little playdate party to share our love for Easy Ups, and to help share our potty training tips with eachother. We even had fun props available for the kids to pose with.

One of my guests suggested that you try and find your child’s “currency”.  Figure out what will motivate your child and use that to help him or her cross over into potty-trained territory. She gave an example of a friend who was planning a trip with her family and she told a fib that did the trick. She told her child that diapers were not allowed on the plane, so if he wasn’t able to use the potty before then, he’d have to stay behind with grandma.  This really motivated him and was the turning point to potty training success.

The kids had a wonderful time playing, and we had fun discussing the topic and sharing some laughs along the way. Best of all, everyone went home with a goody bag featuring Easy Ups and a copy of It’s You and Me Against the Pee!
