Oh. My. Gawd. I have a fabulous discovery for you, called popchips. These potato chips aren’t baked or fried. They’re popped! (Well, duh.)
I’ve seen wafers made this way in my grocery store. Thankfully, someone applied the same heat + pressure idea to America’s favorite snack, potato chips.
I was sent the whole shebang, every last popchips flavor and I can’t stop eating them. But that’s okay, because they’re low in fat and low in calories. Did I mention, irresistibly delicious?
barbeque potato – Probably my favorite flavor. Nothing beats a good tangy BBQ taste.
sour cream & onion potato – Second favorite. Creamy and delicious.
cheddar potato – It’s cheesy. In a good way.
sea salt & vinegar potato – Nice, strong flavor. Salt and vinegar, as promised.
salt & pepper potato – At first I didn’t like it, but the pepper adds some spice and I ended up loving it.
parmesan garlic potato – Just like garlic mashed potatoes. Only crunchier.
popchips, where have you been all my life? Finally I’ve found a delicious snack, in a generous portion, that I can enjoy guiltlessly.
No compensation was received for this review post. I was provided with the popchips samples in order to facilitate my candid review. Your opinion may differ, but I seriously doubt it.
