One of my favorite things to do is to shop in children’s clothing boutiques. Sure, you can find great clothes for your kids at the mall, but sometimes you just need a break from the mass-produced clothing sold there. At least I do. The quality can’t be beat, and there’s a certain elegance to the clothes you’ll find in the boutiques.
Amagansett, Long Island isn’t exactly in my backyard, but if it was, you’d find me shopping at the pink chicken boutique, located right on the town’s main street. How inviting does this storefront look?
Luckily, pink chicken also offers the same great items in their online boutique. There you’ll be able to browse through an array of carefree yet classic clothing for girls. The pieces definitely have a bohemian feel and everything there to me says summer living.
Emma received the Rosie dress in sky blue. It has gorgeous red embroidery all over the dress. It is an easy-to-wear cotton garment and works as a great cover-up for a day on the beach. It does not come with bloomers, but you can pair it with a simple white pair and use it as a lightweight dress. The fabric is on the thin side, so I would probably layer a white tee underneath if I were to use this as a dress. And I didn’t even notice this until now, but the dress is made to be used as a tunic top when your child outgrows the dress. I love that!
The style of the puffy sleeves is just too cute for words. I’ve found a new source for unique, beautiful clothing for my little girl.
I have a Rosie dress in size 24 months that I will give away to one lucky reader!
