P&G Free & Gentle Laundry Products

By Heather

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for P&G. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All opinions and reviews are my own.”

P&G Free and Gentle Laundry Products

My children and I have very sensitive skin, so I am a fan of laundry products that do the job without all of the unnecessary additives that may aggravate skin conditions.

Apparently, we are not alone. Just about half of U.S. consumers have sensitive skin. What many folks don’t realize is that topical skincare products are only part of the solution. The detergents they are using to launder their clothing may be contributing to skin sensitivities. Those scents that many brands add to their formulas, and about 87% of us buy, are really not necessary at all.

We watch what we put into and onto our bodies when it comes to skin care and food, and now it’s important to translate those concerns to what we wear on our bodies. Everyone should follow a dye and perfume free laundry regiment whether you think you need to or not. We just started using P&G Free & Gentle products on our laundry have already noticed a difference.

Tide Free & Gentle Detergent not only is gentle for those of us with sensitive skin, but it removes stains more effectively. I love the added convenience of the pods; there’s no having to rinse the cap.

I’ve also been using Downy Free & Gentle Fabric Softener which softens our clothing without all of those added dyes and scents. And to provide static control and extra freshness, Bounce Free & Gentle Dryer Sheets.

P&G Free and Gentle Laundry Products

Without a doubt, every time I am shopping for laundry products, I will always go the dye-free scent-free route. Why buy what you don’t need? I am very thankful that these products have become more mainstream, affordable and accessible so that everyone can benefit from them.

And you know what? The clothes still smell great without all of those overpowering scents and dyes. It just goes to show you that we don’t always need what we think we need. Our obsession with scented everything does more harm than good.

Do you follow a dye-free scent-free laundry regiment?

I love pods! And I like the idea of no dye’s, etc. I’m definitely going to have to buy this and check it out for myself!

I love the idea of the pods. So convenient to not have to wash out the liquid cups that get yucky.
