Petunia Pickle Bottom Touring Tote (Review + Giveaway)

By Heather

There are lots of diaper bags out there, but few like Petunia Pickle Bottom.  Petunia styles are classically modern, cleverly designed and extremely well made.

Clever
Petunia Touring Totes are designed to provide “shoulder-to-stroller flexibility”.  Use the stroller straps to hang onto your stroller’s handles, and convert to a chic purse using one of the two strap sizes.  There are pockets gallore, for the pacifier, sippy cup, cell phone—oh, there’s space for the diapers and wipes too.

Modern
Dreaming in Dover is the color/design I was sent.  It features an art deco print and is very neutral.  The exterior is a glazed canvas material which is wipeable and water repellent.  In other words, easy to clean.  It took me a little while to notice the embroidery on the front since the flowers blend in so well with the rest of the pattern, only slightly darker in color.  The embroidery brings a classic touch.

Quality
You can tell a lot about a bag just by holding it in your hands.  The Touring Tote feels solid and sturdy, the material ensures that.  It features water-resistant lining, zippered and magnetic closures and piping along the seams.

What I love about this bag, aside from the overall size and usefulness, is that it looks like a lovely purse and not a diaper bag in the traditional sense.  The Touring Totes by Petunia Pickle Bottom are large enough to fit a lot of stuff (10”x14.5”x6.5”) but not so large that it looks like a boring diaper bag.  Mom’s want to look chic no matter what they’re carrying.

Buy It! Touring Totes retail for $146.00.
