With the holidays upon on us, i’m always on the search for practical gifts for my friends and family (since I know I personally love the practical gifts – saves me from having to buy them!). If you know someone who is lucky enough to not truly “need” anything, think about what they can really use and maybe are hesitant to buy for themselves! My sister just had a baby so I have been collecting items over the past few months to give her a welcome-baby gift. My absolute favorite bag for my little ones was a personalized LLBean tote, so it’s my new go-to when I have to give a gift. Of course for my sister I loaded it up with goodies – all from Philips Avent!
My sister had some Avent bottles from her first child but I thought she would enjoy some amazing new items, including bottles from the Avent Infant Starter set ($49.99) in an adorable blue shade for my new little nephew!
She was THRILLED to get the Avent Fast bottle warmer ($39.99) – she didn’t have one with her first and has told me that it was a lifesaver for her in the first few weeks with baby #2 (and helps with sister’s nighttime bottles as well!). Totally easy to use, compact so doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter and fast!
I threw in the Soothie pacifiers (you know those amazing ones they give you in the hospital!), newborn pacifiers and a bottle brush and the gift set was complete. If you want a quick gift, check out their gift sets, ranging from $39.99 to $69.99 with items for baby boys or girls.
Check out all the Philips Avent items online or in stores nationwide.
What are you favorite gifts for parents of newborns during the holidays or year-round?

I ahve used Avent’s pumps and warmer. The built quality is superb. It’s giving established players like Medela and Lansinoh a good run for the money!

I just read about their video baby monitor last week. They have some innovative products and most are on my wish list.
